Meet the Crews of 2021
As Former Royal Marine, Mitch has been deployed throughout the world from Eastern Europe to the Arctic Circle. He will be rowing to raise funds for a charity he believes in and to honour his hero, his father.
Grew up on a small farm in New Zealand. As a former Royal Marine he’s travelled the world and acquired a sense for adventure. Jumped at the chance to raise money for a cause close to his heart.
Jay is a veteran of the Royal Marines who is currently living in Bristol working as a tattoo artist. He has been wanting to row an ocean ever since meeting a fellow veteran and former ocean rower Mick Dawson.
Connor is currently serving as Deck Officer in the Merchant Navy. He has a passion for adventure and all things water based, not that kind mind you. Mission Atlantic combines both whilst supporting a worthy cause.
Former Marine and Firefighter, currently working as Academy Coach Mentor at Exeter City FC. Is rowing to highlight the wonderful work the club is doing to promote it’s athlete’s metal and physical wellbeing.
Lead Academy Sports Scientist at Exeter City FC. After watching loved ones battle the invisible man on their own, James is rowing to raise awareness and raise funds for this worthy and not often talked about cause.
No one should be condemned to suffering in silence. This Atlantic row is a once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in an adventure and to raise money and awareness for a cause that directly affects all of us.
Former Royal Marines Commando and maritime security operator, currently a firefighter. It has been a lifelong ambition to row the Atlantic and what better way than raising money for a great cause.
